In attendance: Gay Fearn, Kim Martin, Linda Andorka, Susan Cupp, Cheryl Abinante, Susan
Bloch, Marcia Rowell, Susan Corwin, Judy Lapp, Kym Mayer, Gloria Baird, Jenny Orosz, Kris
Parsons
Meeting was called to order at 5:30pm by Gay.
The Executive planning Meeting is Saturday, March 7 th , starting at 9:30 am at the Pronghorn
clubhouse. Agenda was sent out yesterday.
Larry Curell’s thank you card for the banner was passed around for people to sign. Gay also has
a card for Whitney for members to sign during the meeting.
Gay received approvals for the $679 for the opportunity quilt, raffle tickets and bookmarks.. Gay
made a motion to approve the $679 to EMI Printworks for the raffle tickets and the bookmarks.
Susan Bloch seconded. All approved.
Lori will take the quilt to the Home Show and Susan Cupp will do Mountaintop. Gay will ask
members to volunteer to take the Opportunity quilt up to Thumb Butte, Chino Valley, and
Flagstaff. Coco will take it for a month. We are confirmed for the Rusty Barn and Scottsdale in
September. Gay can take the quilt to Coco’s.
Gay asked “how much seed money should we have for the Home Show”? $60.00 should be
enough with plenty of one-dollar bills for change. Gloria will set us up with Zelle and Venmo for
payments. Gay said that having this available for payment is important for the home shows not
so much for the guilds. We also have the square.
Gay will organize everything and hand it off to the first person and organize the calendar. Judy
offered to take it to Odegaards in Flagstaff. Quilt is at Odegaards for a month.
Discussion followed skipping the Yavapai County Fair. Fair is good publicity but the logistics are
complicated with finding volunteers, parking and time commitments. Gay suggested we table it
until June.
Vice President. No Report.
Secretary. Kim made a motion to approve the February 2 nd minutes. Gay seconded. Motion
passed.
Treasurer’s Report. Gloria brought the new computer to show us. The total cost was $1,028
which includes Quicken and Microsoft Office. Gloria realized that we need to set up a MacAfee
protection plan which costs about $70 annually. Gloria made a motion to set up a McAfee
protection plan to protect the computer for $70 annually. Susan Bloch seconded, approved.
The Profit and Loss report is up to date except for a few items. Gloria didn't realize that we had
already paid the rent for the church for January, February, and March. She sent it again, and that's
why that amount is $600. April, May, and June’s rent is covered in this report.
